Huskers’ Football Season Opener Will Be In Primetime

Nebraska will open its 2017 football season under the lights at Memorial Stadium.

The Big Ten Conference announced today that the Huskers’ September 2nd season opener against Arkansas State will kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised by BTN.

This will mark the second straight season the Huskers have opened with a home prime-time contest.  NU defeated Fresno State in last year’s season opener in Lincoln.

In fact, the Huskers enter this season with a 19-game winning streak in home night games. The streak dates back to 2008.
