Riley Likes WR’s, O-Line And D-Line Recruits

Nebraska football coach Mike Riley said the Huskers hit their marks in signing three wide receivers and four offensive linemen in their 20-player class Wednesday.

The best in class is seen as receiver Tyjon Lindsey out of Las Vegas.  But, receiver Jamire Calvin, another four-star recruit from Los Angeles, made a signing-day decision to go to Washington State after verbally committing to NU last week.

Riley also said John Parella did a “terrific job” recruiting defensive linemen, whom Riley called “a really good group of kids.” Those include defensive end Guy Thomas of Miami, who has a chance to play right away in the new 3-4 system being installed by new defensive coordinator Bob Diaco.
