Jake Bos a Finalist for Omaha World-Heald’s Athlete of the Year

Scotus grad Jake Bos is a finalist for the Omaha World-Herald’s Athlete of the Year.

The All-Nebraska soccer player led the Shamrocks in scoring as Scotus made history by winning its third straight Class B title last month. Bos was a two-time Class C-1 all-state linebacker as Scotus was football’s state champion last fall.  He was the Class B 195-pound runner-up at this year’s state wrestling meet.

Other boys’ finalists for the newspaper’s honor are Ben Stille of Ashland-Greenwood, Alec Cromer and Cam Jurgens of Beatrice and Noah Vedral of Wahoo-Neumann.

The Athlete of the Year boys’ and girls’ winners will be announced by the World-Herald this Sunday.
