Scotus has earned recognition for its athletic and fine arts programs. The final standings for the 2015-16 NSAA Cup were released Tuesday and the Shamrocks topped two of the three Class C divisions.
In the All-School Division, Scotus racked up 500 points, 175 points more than runner-up Kearney Catholic. The Shamrocks also easily claimed first place in the Boys Division, finishing with 397.5 points, 205 points better than runner-up Grand Island Central Catholic.
The point system is based on participation in NSAA education-based activities and performance in state championship events.
The annual awards program began in 2007.
