Five Scotus Seniors Named to AP All-State Football Team

Five senior members of Scotus’ state football championship team were honored Thursday with AP All Class C-1 honors. They are offensive lineman Carson Fuscher, running back Baeley Pelster, linebackers Jake Bos and Marcus Dodson and defensive back Cole Harrington.

Several other area football players earned AP All-State honors:

Receiver – Brady Bamesberger, Central City, Sr.

Lineman – Jordan Paup, Central City, Sr.

Quarterback – Mitch Carlson, Central City, Sr.

Class C-2 Offense:

Lineman – Matt Kindler, Aquinas, Sr.

Class C-2 Defense:

Linebacker – Lane Napier, Aquinas, Jr.

Linebacker – Mitch White, Aquinas, Sr.

Back – Conner Kranda, Aquinas, Sr.

Back – Noah Pelan, Aquinas, Sr.

Class D-1 Offense:

Placekicker – Omar Ramirez, High Plains, Sr.

Class D-1 Defense:

Linebacker – Josh DeMers, High Plains, Sr.

Class D-2 Offense:

Back – Luke Ericson, Osceola, Sr.

Back – Kyle Wemhoff, Humphrey St. Francis, Sr.

Class D-2 Defense:

Lineman – Cole Wemhoff, Humphrey St. Francis, Jr.
