Husker Football Team Wraps Up Final Spring Practice

The Nebraska football team wrapped up its 14th and final spring practice yesterday.

Coach Mike Riley said the Huskers have not had many live scrimmages during the spring practice season, so Saturday’s spring game will be a good indicator of how the players react at game speed.  Riley said the spring game will have four 20-minute quarters with a running clock, but the clock will stop every time the ball changes possession.

He added there will be a good split of first, second and third-teamers on the Red and White squads.
