$2.2 Million Available To Communities Affected By 2019 Floods
LINCOLN- USDA Rural Development has announced $2.2 million are available to communities in the 87 counties deemed by a FEMA Major Disaster Declaration.

The maximum grant is $50,000 or it can be combined with direct loan funding from the Community Facilities Direct Loan program. Grant eligibility is based upon the project and community factors. Schurman explained the criteria to qualify…
The program does not include Dundy, Hitchcock, Red Willow, Chase, Perkins and McPherson Counties. The program is available until September, 2021. Communities interested can 402-437-5551 to discuss their project.
