Lakeview Baseball Games Canceled; Pierce Players Ill

Lakeview’s Legion baseball clubs have had to cancel their home games against Pierce tonight.
Travis Tessendorf, head coach of the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds, says he was contacted by a Pierce coach this morning. Pierce had two players become ill and they are currently being tested for COVID-19 leading to the decision to cancel tonight’s contests.
The Junior Reds and Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors will next be in action Thursday evening, when they welcome West Point to Pawnee Park Field.
