The Stanton County Sheriff Office says 27-year old Brandon Wolf of Fremont is currently hospitalized at UNMC Hospital in Omaha following the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 15 and Highway 32 just after 9am Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred when an SUV collided with a southbound semi, which then hit a northbound semi.   All three vehicles erupted in flames. Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says the victims in the SUV and northbound tanker truck were burned beyond recognition.

The three fatalities have been tentatively identified and their next of kin notified.  Positive identification may take several days as they were all burned beyond recognition.  The Sheriff's office has undertaken efforts to locate and obtain dental records of the deceased.
