Columbus Man Arrested For Terroristic Threats In Norfolk
Norfolk, NE~~A 21-year-old Columbus man is under arrest after pulling a gun out of his backpack in a Norfolk business. Norfolk Police were called to 304 W. Northwestern Avenue at 1:52A.M. Monday morning where witnesses say Dustin Redowl pulled a gun out and demanded the employees help him find his missing sunglasses.
Redowl apparently left through a backdoor and fled on foot when confronted by officers. Officers eventually used a Taser to subdue Redowl.
A search led to the seizure of a disassembled black paintball gun that resembled a true pistol and a sunglass case containing a small plastic bag with white residue which tested positive for methamphetamine.
Redowl is charged with terroristic threats, possession of a controlled substance, and obstruction of a police officer.
