Nebraska State Patrol Receives Reaccreditation

Lincoln, NE~~The Nebraska State Patrol received its reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.  The State Patrol was awarded the Gold Standard Accreditation “With Excellence Award.”

The Gold Standard is the highest level of accreditation awarded by CALEA.  State Patrol Superintendent Col. David Sankey says the level of recognition is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of all of their employees.

In order to gain accreditation, a law enforcement agency must prove compliance with up to 481 standards.

The Nebraska State Patrol was first accredited in 1989.
