2-15-12, COLUMBUS, Neb. - Two of four men accused in a series of armed robberies around Columbus last November will head to trial on March 26th.23-year-old Jose Arviso-Licano and 17-year-old Aaron Duran each face a number of charges, including robbery, receiving stolen property, and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The two are accused, along with 18-year-old Maurice Brooks and 17-year-old Dustin Martin, of committing three robberies in a half-hour span then leading police on a high speed chase through town on the afternoon of November 28th.
Martin has pleaded no contest in the case and is cooperating with authorities. His sentencing date is April 5th. Brooks has yet to go to trial.
