Brothers Osborne Cast Their Real Friends and Family in "Rum" Video

UMG/Sonya JasinskiBrothers Osborne went back to their hometown of Deale, Maryland to shoot the video for their latest single, "Rum." The cast of characters in the clip all hail from Deale as well, which may explain the duo's T.J. and John Osborne's offbeat senses of humor. At first the director wanted to go to Deale to find off-the-wall people to appear in the video, but T.J. says they assured him they'd just call on their old friends and family that still lived there."We grew up with those people," T.J. tells ABC News Radio. "We wanted it to be real. We wanted the music to be real. We wanted the music video to be real and when people see and hear it, it's completely true, honest what it is. We didn't want anything to be contrived, 'cause it didn't need to be."The video for "Rum" features the guys' pals lip syncing the song, but not everyone had the lyrics memorized in time for the shoot.Says T.J., "There's even a couple moments, we left them in the video 'cause they were hilarious where people are just singing along and they get to the bridge, and they're like, 'Oh, I don't know what the words are.' And they have this kind of paused look on their face like deer in the headlights, and it's amazing.""Rum" is included on Brothers Osborne's new, self-titled EP, available now.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

I think she might have found her sport 'cause she's really good at it."Keeley is also developing a bit of a rebellious streak as she approaches her teenage years.Says Jason, "My older one, she's 11 going on 20. Kenny Chesney Opens Up About His College Football Playstation Addiction, Drinkin

Kenny admits he's "pretty addicted" to the video game.Looking back on his 2013 tour, Kenny tells People, "Several nights my tour manager would come on the bus and say, 'It's time to go onstage,' when I'm in the middle of the fourth quarter, and I'm like, 'They can wait!'"Kenny is no couch potato, though. He gets up really early every day to work with his trainer after eating five egg whites and one whole egg scrambled with peppers and coconut oil.  "That's my daily ritual," he says.Kenny has been known to splurge on his diet, but he prefers to get his calories from alcohol over fried foods. David Nail on Ray Rice Fallout: "The NFL Must Think We're Just Morons"

Image Courtesy MCA NashvilleDavid Nail finished up tour rehearsals for his I'm a Fire tour Wednesday in Nashville, but he was keeping up with the fallout from the release of the Ray Rice elevator video just like every other sports junkie. In the video, former Baltimore Ravens team member Ray Rice is seen punching his then-fiancée, Janay Palmer, inside an Atlantic City casino elevator. Another video showing him dragging her unconscious body out of the elevator surfaced earlier this year.NFL commissioner Roger Goodell claims the league never saw the video from inside the elevator until it was released earlier this week, but David think it's "comical" to think they never had access to that footage."The NFL must think we're just morons," David says. "You know, you hear people 365 days a year talk about the almighty NFL, how powerful they are, how much money they have, and to think that they couldn't have somehow had access to that video and known that months ago, weeks after it happened, is just ridiculous.Ray Rice has been fired from the Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the league since the tape from inside the elevator went public, but other first-time domestic violence offenders in the NFL will only get a six-game suspension going forward. David doesn't see the logic in the NFL's approach in dealing with Rice."So, the rule doesn't apply to him, or just because he was first and we have a video, his is worse? It doesn't make any sense," David explains. "If you're having to adjust your rules as time goes along, evidently, you probably don't know exactly what you're doing, and you're probably not the person that should be making the rules."In the future, David thinks the NFL should discipline players as soon as a domestic violence police report is filed on them, instead of waiting until something like a video becomes public. He adds, "It's like, if you need a video to know what went on based on the police report, but we're gonna wait for due process or whatever it is, it's just like, 'Come on, man.'  It's pretty ridiculous."David will be keeping up with this story as he launches his I'm a Fire tour Thursday night in Oxford, Mississippi.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio
