Woman dies after Grand Island collision



GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a 72-year-old driver died after a collision at a Grand Island intersection.
    
Police say the accident occurred around 9:35 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 281 and 13th Street.
    
Police say a westbound sport utility vehicle on 13th Street ran a red light and collided with a southbound semitrailer.
    
Police say the SUV driver was taken to St. Francis Medical Center, where she died. Her name has not been released.
    
The truck driver wasn't injured.
