Two Defendants Sentenced In Columbus Murder



Columbus, NE~~Two defendants in the 2013 stabbing death of 51-year-old Steven Jorgensen of Columbus have been sentenced in Platte County District Court.  Kimberly Henderson of Columbus was sentenced to 50 to 60 years in prison for a second degree murder charge. Co-defendant Quentin Critser of Lincoln was also sentenced in the murder and received 35 to 45 years in prison for one count of second degree murder. 

Henderson pleaded guilty in March to one count of second degree murder. Critser pleaded guilty in December to one count of second degree murder in the 2013 stabbing.

Last month, 31-year-old Eric Henry of Columbus was convicted by jury in Platte County District Court for Jorgensen’s murder.  Henry faces a mandatory life sentence for the murder charge. Sentencing for Henry is scheduled for May 20th.
