Lyons Woman Accused Of Selling Stolen Cattle To Columbus Couple

Neligh, NE~~An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman accused of stealing cattle.  The Antelope County Sheriff issued the warrant for 22-year-old Rebecca Robbins of Lyons.  The Sheriff’s Office says Robbins allegedly stole 35 head of cows and 40 calves from Wilbur Rakow.

Investigators say Robbins then sold the cattle to a Columbus couple.  When a semi loaded the cattle last week, Rakow notified authorities that the cattle had been stolen.  The cattle were eventually returned to Rakow.

Robbins is charged with three felonies including theft by deception, attempt of felony and theft, and unlawful taking.
