"Dancing With the Stars" Host Tom Bergeron on How Julianne Hough Did First Time

ABC/Adam Taylor(LOS ANGELES) -- There was a lot of talk surrounding former Dancing With the Stars pro Julianne Hough when it was announced prior to season 19 that the 26-year-old would be joining the judges table on the show.Hough, whose brother Derek still performs on DWTS, has done splendidly, says host Tom Bergeron."I think she's been doing wonderfully. I think there was more on her shoulders and for Carrie Ann [Inaba] and Bruno [Tonioli --the other judges], as well when Len [Goodman] took a month off," Bergeron explained to ABC News. "I think they all stepped up wonderfully."In fact, Bergeron, 59, thinks Hough only got better as the season wore on."I think Julianne's really hit her stride," he said. "She knows what it's like to be on that floor competing, her comments are concise, are empathetic, are knowledgeable. I don't think you ask any more of a judge."Along with Hough, Erin Andrews enjoyed her second season as co-host, aiding Bergeron by interviewing the Stars, even asking the personal questions fans want to know."Erin's been doing great. She breaks me up, keeps me on my toes," he said, laughing. "I never know what she's going to say, I'm always paying close attention! That can be her role there and she has embraced it, of almost being the voice of the viewer, the person who has access and can ask or say what the people in the audience are wondering."Season 19 ended on Tuesday night with a dramatic finale, where Alfonso Ribeiro took home the coveted Mirrorball trophy.“I cannot believe this,” he said after the win. “I’ve wanted it forever … I don’t even know what to say. These are happy tears.”Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Taylor Swift Reveals Who She Gets Dressed Up For

Image Group LA/ABC(NEW YORK) -- Taylor Swift has a history of lost love and then writing songs about exes, but the pop star is all about being with her friends at the moment.Swift, 24, spoke to Asos magazine for a story called "How to Be a Supergirl" and said when she is looking to get all dolled up, it's not for guys."When I’m getting dressed, it’s always based on what my friends will think," she said. "They are my No. 1 priority and the opinions of girls are more important to me, at this point in my life. But depending on the city I’m in and depending on the time of day and what mood I’m in, my choices are ever changing. That’s what keeps fashion exciting. You’re always coming from a different place of inspiration."That doesn't mean Swift doesn't have plenty of advice when it comes to guys, dating and, especially, heartbreak."Fixing your heartbreak by getting into another relationship is not the way to live your life -- you need to live it on your terms for a while," she said. "Honestly, being in my twenties and only focusing on what I want, moving to New York because I wanted to, cutting my hair short because I wanted to, making all these decisions based on the direction I wanted to go, has been the most liberating thing I’ve done in my life. You can have love all around you without being in love, and find romance in your everyday life without being in a romantic relationship."The singer also explained how her friendships -- she's often seen with supermodel Karlie Kloss and Grammy winner Lorde, among others -- are "real" and how that is an advantage as a celebrity."My friends are the kind of people who have their own lives and their own busy schedules, and that’s why we get along so well," she said. "A lot of 'celebrities' surround themselves with chic cling-ons who don’t have much of a job or a passion. They follow around their celebrity BFF and provide constant affirmation for them. I’m really not interested in that kind of deal."Finally, Swift revealed how her mistakes "have gotten me the greatest sense of clarity.""As much as I would really like to have saved myself heartache, embarrassment or gossip, I also know that my biggest mistakes have turned into my best lessons and sometimes my greatest career triumphs," she said.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

ABC/Kelsey McNeal(LOS ANGELES) -- After winning the coveted Mirrorball trophy Tuesday night on Dancing with the Stars, Alfonso Ribeiro tweeted Wednesday that "This is the moment I've waited 10 years for."The former Fresh Prince star has been vying to get on the show since it began a decade ago and now he's the champion. He beat out other finalists -- Sadie Robertson, Janel Parrish and Bethany Mota."This...is worth waiting for," he told ABC right after the win. "The right thing happened at the right time. I think it was the right, the right time with my family, you know if I had done it before last season, I wouldn't have gotten Witney."Ribeiro, 43, gave a warning to other celebrities thinking about being on the show."I would first tell them, 'If you want to do the show, get in shape first,'" he joked. Finally, the actor and father of two said he knows exactly who he wants to take his place on the dance floor next season."I want to get my boy David Justice to do it," he said. How Ethan Hawke's Divorce Still Impacts His Family

ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) --  In his new film Boyhood, Ethan Hawke plays the father in a story that follows a boy from innocent child to surly teen as his family grapples with divorce. It's a perspective that Hawke knows deeply himself.Hawke separated from his first wife, actress Uma Thurman, in 2003 after five years of marriage when their daughter Maya was just 5 years old."When we were first splitting up, it broke her heart because she just didn't know anybody else," Hawke said in an interview with Nightline. "She was the only kid in her kindergarten whose parents weren't together, and it was really hard for her, and now she's a junior in high school and she helps her friends."In Boyhood, Hawke, who stars alongside Patricia Arquette as his ex-wife and newcomer Ellar Coltrane as their son, channeled a lot of himself into playing a divorced dad on screen. A passion project for director Richard Linklater, all the actors involved agreed to be filmed every year over the span of 12 years to make the almost three-hour-long movie."I had this realization that I thought I was being offered a job that I'm not sure any actor had ever been offered before, to get to create a character and be able to use time to create them," Hawke said.Hawke and his wife Ryan Shawhuges Hawke, whom he jokingly called the "CEO" of their family, have been married now for more than six years and have two young daughters together. Ryan is currently working on a documentary called Seymour, about an 87-year-old concert pianist who suffered from horrible stage fright."What makes our family work is you can't have one person be creative inside a couple, and traveling a lot, and expect to have a home life if somebody isn't taking care of a sense of balance," Hawke said. "There are so many different levels. Who's managing our money and paying our taxes? A sense of balance that needs to happen. And she makes that happen for me anyway."Through the twists and turns of his career, and his love life, Hawke has found a role that is most meaningful to him -- being a father to his kids."A lot of things happened in my life over the last decade, but there's only one thing that has really been consistent, and that's them," he said. "I would do interviews and stuff, and they ask me about movies... It's really not what's really happening ever in my life. What's really been happening in my life is being a father. That's been the most important thing. And this movie [Boyhood] gave me an opportunity to place all those feelings and all those experiences into a narrative."Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Angelina Jolie on Why She Would Get into Politics

Ethan Miller/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Angelina Jolie would consider a career in politics "if I felt I could really make a difference," she told a British television network."I've always gone where I felt I was needed," the actress and activist, 39, told ITV on Tuesday. "When I started working with the U.N., I loved working in the field."Jolie began her humanitarian work in the early 2000s and since then has served as a United Nations goodwill ambassador, traveling to places such as Darfur, a war-torn region in Sudan, and neighboring Chad. She's also met with members of Congress over the years, championing causes focused on children in developing nations. In June, Jolie was appointed an honorary dame commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George for her work with the United Kingdom and efforts to end sexual violence in war zones.Jolie added that after her U.N. work, she got more involved with going to Washington, D.C., to "plead" for certain cases.Of that work, Jolie said she "doesn't know what that means or where that will lead me." "Amada was my grandmother’s name. It means ‘beloved’ in Spanish.”Mendes might be having some sleepless nights raising a baby, but she said it's her daughter who she sympathizes with."Everything is a struggle for her. For instance, I haven’t thrown up since the 90s and she’s thrown up twice since we started this interview,” she said. “Motherhood is cake compared to what it’s like to be a baby.”Finally, Mendes commented on the fact that she worries for her baby's privacy, being the daughter of two high-profile actors."Whether we like it or not, privacy is going to be very difficult for Esmeralda. How Christian Bale Prepared for Role in "Exodus: Gods and Kings"

Photo by Jeff Vespa/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- To prepare for the role of Moses in the upcoming film, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Christian Bale says he studied the biblical story and came to realize that Moses was a very complicated figure.“He was so much more human than I had ever imagined...[he] had all sort of temptations and indulgences that he had grown up with,” Bale said in an upcoming interview with ABC's Nightline. “[He was] absolutely seen as a freedom fighter for the Hebrews, but a terrorist in terms of the Egyptian empire.”Moses has been an inspirational icon for liberation movements throughout history, and is a central figure in the three Great Abrahamic faiths -- Judaism, Christianity and Islam.“What would happen to Moses if he arrived today?” Bale pondered. “Drones would be sent out after him, right?”Director Ridley Scott teamed up with frequent collaborator Steve Zaillian, who wrote the script for Exodus.“What he is writing is a story of revolution,” Bale said of Zaillian. “And that’s a story that can resonate, no matter what time.”Exodus: Gods and Kings hits theaters December 12Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

"Dancing With the Stars": Alfonso Ribeiro Wins in Season-19 Finale

ABC/Adam Taylor(LOS ANGELES) -- After a hotly contested finale in which only a few votes separated the final three contenders, actor Alfonso Ribeiro emerged the winner of season 19 of ABC's Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night at the conclusion of the two-part finale.Ribeiro and his partner, Witney Carson, beat out Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and her partner, Mark Ballas, and Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, to claim the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.Ribeiro appeared elated as he hugged Carson, and he was in tears as he talked with the show’s co-host, Tom Bergeron.“I cannot believe this,” he said. “I’ve wanted it forever … I don’t even know what to say. These are happy tears.”Carson was beaming.“He’s one of the most hardworking people I’ve ever met,” she said of her partner, telling him directly: “You deserve it.”Robertson, who earned second place, thanked God for carrying her through to the finale of the competition and said Ribeiro deserved to win.Parrish, who took third place, appeared emotional but smiled through tears at her partner.“I honestly am just so lucky to be here standing next to him. You were my trophy the entire season so I’m happy,” Parrish told Chmerkovskiy. After their two performances Monday on the first night of the finale, Ribeiro led the pack with a perfect score of 80, followed by Robertson with 78 points and Parrish with 77 points.YouTube star Bethany Mota, who had made it to the final four competitors, was sent home during the first night of the finale. With less than a day to prepare, the top three couples were assigned a fusion challenge in which they had to create a new dance routine that combined two contrasting dance styles. They performed the routines Tuesday night for points from judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. The three finalists all earned perfect scores of 40 each for their fusion dances – Ribeiro for his cha-cha/Argentine tango, Parrish for her foxtrot/paso doble and Robertson for her samba/quickstep.The points were added to the judges’ scores from Monday night for a two-night total of 120 for Ribeiro, 118 for Robertson and 117 for Parrish. Those scores were combined with viewer votes from Monday night for a final grand total.Ribeiro has been fan favorite this season, and delighted the ballroom audience and viewers when he performed “The Carlton,” the quirky dance performed by the character he played on the hit TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The 43-year-old danced his way to the finals despite having suffered groin and back injuries during rehearsals.Judges had high praise for Robertson’s improvement throughout the competition. The 17-year-old reality TV personality became another fan favorite from the moment she took the stage in the season premiere to perform a cha-cha that impressed the judges. A high point for her came several weeks into the competition, when she performed a Ducky Dynasty-inspired samba that featured a cameo from the men in her famous family.Parrish, 26, started the competition well and kept on improving, her scores placing her at or near the top of the leader board for much of the competition. Her jazz routine in week three resulted in the first perfect score of the season, but she recently injured her ribs during rehearsals and it showed in her performance Monday night. The competition started 11 weeks ago with 13 stars -- including actor Antonio Sabato Jr., comedian Tommy Chong, Olympian Lolo Jones and NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip – vying for their chance at the Mirrorball Trophy.Tuesday night’s two-hour show included live musical performances from Jennifer Hudson and Gorgon City, Nick Jonas, and Meghan Trainor. Stars who had been booted from the dance floor during this season also returned to wow the ballroom audience with new routines.Viewers also got to see an encore performance of Mota’s freestyle after Twitter fans picked it as the freestyle they most wanted to see again.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard will have their hands full with a toddler and a newborn when baby No. 2 arrives. No surprise, then, that the couple – already parents to daughter Lincoln, 20 months – is looking forward to some well-deserved time off together.“The baby’s going to arrive right when we wrap our shows and we are both taking off tons of time to just canoodle as a family,” Shepard, 39, shared with People. As for juggling two babies, the couple admits they are in new territory.“I think we’ll probably get through it just like everybody else does, which is we’ll put it together day by day,” Bell, 34, told the magazine with a laugh.“We were told to pick up the oldest first if both are crying,” Shepard chimed in about advice they received for juggling two babies.“It seems like a smart piece of advice. Since no one is imprinting memories of how you’re treating [Lincoln] already and the newborn doesn’t really know who’s holding them,” Bell added.Joked Shepard, “We know the first one is great so we don’t want to ruin the first one. Emily Blunt Reveals the Family Tradition She's Passing On to Her Daughter

ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) -- Emily Blunt said that as a child, it was a family tradition to read a story before bed.Now that she's a mother herself, she's making sure to do the same with her daughter, Hazel."She's nine months old but she understands. She sits on me, this little thing, and she understands turning a page already and going on a journey," Blunt marveled during an interview with E! News. "I think it's amazing."Blunt, 31, and her husband John Krasinski, 35, welcomed Hazel this past February. And while the Into the Woods star realizes that technology is changing the way we read, she still wants her daughter to appreciate physical books."I just want her to have that satisfaction I had as a kid of finishing a book and the chunk of it and the weight of it and putting the book down and it's done," she said. Universal(NEW YORK) -- On Monday, fans were treated to an eight-second preview of it. Chris Rock, Other Celebs React Online to Ferguson Verdict

Douglas Gorenstein/NBC(NEW YORK) -- Celebrities expressed sadness, frustration and disappointment across social media Monday after a grand jury in Missouri declined to bring charges against police officer Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 shooting of unarmed black teen Michael Brown. Here are just some of the reactions:Basketball star LeBron James used the opportunity to harken back to the 2012 shooting of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, posting an editorial cartoon on Instagram of Martin and Brown walking together with their arms draped across each other's shoulders."As a society how do we do better and stop things like this happening time after time!!" Bumped into a cop in line at Starbucks and didn't get shot six times. #Ferguson."In response to the flurry of opposing tweets that followed, Rock added just six minutes later, "Following someone on Twitter and complaining about what they tweet about is like calling someone to tell them you don't want to talk to them."Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Movie Review: "Penguins of Madagascar" (Rated PG)

Fox(NEW YORK) -- I’m not sure anybody was asking for it, but the penguins from the Madagascar movies have their own film. Actually, it doesn’t matter whether anybody was asking for it, because the results make for one of the year’s most pleasant surprises -- and, perhaps, a viable and lucrative spin-off series. When we first meet Skipper, Kowalski and Rico, they’re little kids in Antarctica, marching…somewhere, with all of the other penguins, all of whom are perfectly content going wherever it is nature’s telling them to go. Skipper isn’t happy, though, when nobody leaves the line to rescue a runaway egg. When several of the older penguins explain that’s just the way it is, Skipper flops on his belly and, joined by  Kowalski and Rico, makes a mad dash to rescue the egg.The egg turns out to be holding adorable little Private. Ten years later, in a callback to Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, we hear Chris Rock’s Marty singing the “Afro-Circus” in the background as the four penguins, now adults and far away from Antarctica, stuff themselves into a circus cannon and shoot themselves toward Fort Knox. Obviously, they break into Fort Knox (because obviously, penguins can do that sort of thing), but I’m not going to tell you why. What I will tell you is the penguins are abducted by Dave (John Malkovich), an octopus disguised as a doctor. And Dave’s seeking revenge. Used to be, he was the main attraction at the Central Park Zoo -- until the cute penguins came along and upstaged him, at every zoo and every aquarium he went to around the world. The crazy octopus is working on some green concoction that will do some sort of harm to penguins, but we don’t know what. What we do know is, he must be stopped! Malkovich is the perfect voice for Dave, who isn’t just a great animated villain but also delivers the movie’s funniest lines -- and there’s plenty of funny dialogue to go around for both children and adults. You’ll love taking your kids to see Penguins of Madagascar, a funny, clever and adorable movie. New Reality Show Follows Young Women Thinking About Becoming Nuns

Don Bayley/iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Reality meets spirituality in a reality show that debuts Tuesday night about a group of young women thinking about becoming nuns. The new Lifetime show The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns follows five young women leaving life as they know it behind as they consider taking the sacred vows and becoming nuns. The young women are in what's called the "discernment phase," where they live alongside nuns to figure out whether they're ready to put their faith above everything else.“Women don't enter with halos. They don't come in holy,” one nun said in a preview of the show. “God called them from where they are, and they all come from different backgrounds. It will be very difficult.”"Difficult” meaning no boyfriends, no cellphones and no makeup, which the young women visibly struggle with on the show.“Religious life can be difficult, especially if you're running away from something,” the nun said. “We do have certain expectations of dress, that it certainly be modest, and that includes your makeup.”One young woman in the preview cries over this realization, saying, “But we can't have any makeup? I never even talk about my acne to anyone. It's something that's so personal. You don't understand when you look at yourself, and you're so scared that people aren't going to see you.”Another young woman confides in a nun that she feels “broken.”The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns premieres Tuesday night at 10 p.m ET/PT on Lifetime.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Movie Review: "Horrible Bosses 2" (Rated R)

Photo Credit: John P. Johnson/© 2014 WARNER BROS. ENTERTAINMENT INC.(NEW YORK) -- There are three Oscar winners in the cast of Horrible Bosses 2: Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, and Christoph Waltz. There’s also Chris Pine, the current face of the billion-dollar Star Trek sci-fi franchise, and Jennifer Aniston, hot off last year’s comedy hit, We’re the Millers. I haven’t even mentioned the three stars -- Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day -- all of whom bring their impressive bona fides to the table.  It takes every bit of this star power to overcome Horrible Bosses 2’s many shortcomings. After the surprising success of 2011’s Horrible Bosses, Nick (Bateman), Kurt (Sudeikis) and Dale (Day) are now taking their destinies into their own hands by becoming entrepreneurs. They’ve invented something called a Shower Buddy, a shower head that dispenses not only water, but also soap and shampoo. We’re reintroduced to the fellas when they go on a local TV morning show to discuss the product in hopes of attracting an investor. It’s the strongest, funniest sequence in the whole movie -- which is unfortunate, given that the majority of the film is yet to come. Despite an embarrassing visual during a demo of how the shower head works, and the inexplicably racist name of their company, they attract an investor, a multi-billion-dollar company run by Bert Hanson (Waltz), who tells the guys he’ll distribute their product if they get loan, open a factory and produce half-a-million Shower Buddies. But once they do, Bert reneges on the deal, leaving the guys in a very deep hole. Nick, Kurt and Dale hatch a plan to get their money back by kidnapping Bert’s obnoxious, cocky son, Rex, played by Chris Pine.  However, our heroes find every way possible to screw up their plan, to the point Rex actually forces them to kidnap him. It sounds funnier than it actually is. If you’re easily offended, you have no business seeing Horrible Bosses 2 because you will find some of it nauseatingly offensive. If, however, you believe nothing is sacred when it comes to comedy, then Horrible Bosses 2 will provide you a few laugh-out-loud moments, but not enough of them to justify the price of theater admission. Wait until you can stream it at home. Her husband knows I love her. Michelle knows I love her. There's nothing either of them can do about it.”Referring to Streep's role in the film Mamma Mia!, Obama joked, “She's done it all for her craft. She's sung ABBA, which, you know, that's something."Obama continued reviewing Streep's prolific career: "She learned violin. She wore a nun's habit, faced down a charging lion, mastered every accent under the sun. She inhabits her characters so fully and compassionately."The honorees also included actress Marlo Thomas, singer Stevie Wonder, newsman Tom Brokaw and composer Stephen Sondheim.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

"Real Housewives" Star Lisa Vanderpump Says It May Be Time to Leave Show If Viol

Michael Larsen/Bravo(NEW YORK) -- Fans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were shocked when they saw star Lisa Vanderpump get slapped across the face by an unknown woman in the show's trailer. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant tells ABC News Radio that the culprit was in fact her co-star and former friend, Brandi Glanville -- and it may signal that it's time for Lisa to move on."She was the main catalyst of last year's...situation and I just thought I just don't want to be around this person anymore. But I really tried hard in this season to kind of make it work and then you see what transpires," Vanderpump says. "But it wasn't a good situation. Nobody's ever kind of put their hands on me before."It's clear that after last season's fall out between the two former friends, they have yet to patch things up. Still, Vanderpump says she understands why situations can sometimes get physical on reality TV."When they film you for months, you know, sometimes things do happen, especially when you're in intense situations. I think the only prerequisite on reality television is that they ask you to be honest," she explains. "But certainly, yes, I get concerned about anything getting physical because that's not who I am or who I want to be or want to be around.""I don't like the aggression. I don't like the nastiness," Vanderpump continues. "It's not something I ever want to be a part of and if I am then I think it's time for me to leave the show." The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Bravo.Follow @ABCNewsRadio  Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Zach Braff, Shia LaBeouf and Woody Allen Make "GQ" List of 'Least Influential Pe

ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) -- What do Zach Braff, Shia LaBeouf and Woody Allen have in common? They've all made GQ's "Least Influential People of 2014" list.According to GQ, Braff made the list because he used Kickstarter to fund his latest film, Wish I Was Here. "Who are these people who gave Zach Braff $3 million to make a Garden State do-over? Who has that kind of money to burn?" GQ wrote. "He should've just filmed himself rubbing that money on his armpits," GQ added.LaBeouf got his honor for a string of odd behavior incidents this past year. The magazine wrote, "enough with celebrities excusing their asinine behavior -- like, say, wearing paper bags over their heads -- by claiming they were conducting some kind of sociological experiment about HUMANITY."Meanwhile, Allen made the list for his box office dud, Magic in the Moonlight. "Does that movie feature yet another man wooing a woman who is half his age? Of course it does. Just to throw us off, Woody needs to make a movie where Justin Bieber nails Cloris Leachman," the mag quipped. Also on the list are Bono and U2, Johnny Depp and Robin Thicke. How I Met Your Mother co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas also made the GQ list for the show's much-maligned twist ending.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

"Dancing with the Stars" Recap: Bethany Mota Eliminated

ABC/Adam Taylor(LOS ANGELES) -- YouTube star Bethany Mota and her pro partner Derek Hough were voted off ABC's Dancing with the Stars Monday on the first night of a two-night season 19 finale. After learning her fate, Mota, 19, told the audience, “I’ve discovered things about myself that...I never thought I could do. I was just hoping to make it past week two so to be in the finals was the best thing ever.”Hough, the brother of judge Julianne Hough, said he was proud of his partner and the show. “This has been an incredible season,” he said.Monday’s installment featured the finalists dancing two routines. For their first performance, the stars had to revisit the routine they did in their first week, under the tutelage of a member of the judges’ panel. The second routine, the freestyle, generally holds tremendous significance in determining the overall winner of the competition. The final three couples are actress Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy; actor Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson; and Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas.  The winner of the mirrorball trophy will be announced Tuesday night during a two-hour finale. Here’s a rundown of Monday night’s routines:Bethany Mota: The YouTube star reprised her jive, but a problem with a late-moving prop and a fumble cost her. “I’m sad because I saw tremendous improvement from week one...but we have the mistakes...,” Carrie Ann Inaba said. Bruno Tonioli, who gave Mota pointers during her rehearsal for this routine, told her she was “the ideal student” and said she did incredibly well. Head judge Len Goodman and judge Julianne Hough both agreed that Mota had improved tremendously since her debut on the show. Mota earned four 9s for a total of 36 out of a possible 40 points.Sadie Robertson: The Duck Dynasty star re-did her Week One samba with some pointers beforehand from Goodman and with cameos from her famous family. The routine made her father tear up, and the judges were full of praise. Hough said she loved it more than she did the first time, and Tonioli pointed out slight flaws in the timing even though he, too, said Robertson had soared to “unexpected heights” on the show. Inaba acknowledged that she didn’t expect to see Robertson in the finals, but added that the performance proved why she made it so far. Goodman said he liked that the routine had lots of basic samba steps paired with interesting choreography. He did point out that Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas lost sync for a brief time. Robertson earned two 10s and two 9s for a total of 38 points.Janel Parrish: Although she was dancing with an injury that caused her to miss several days of rehearsal, Parrish's samba -- with rehearsal tips from Julianne Hough -– earned her a standing ovation from the ballroom audience. The judges noted that her injury appeared to have some impact on her performance. Tonioli told Parrish she “lost balance a little bit” and added, “it’s probably because of your injury and it’s such a shame because it was a wonderful, wonderful dance.” Inaba told Parrish she was a “warrior dancer.” Goodman said he didn’t notice any mistakes on the turns. “What I did see what great, rhythmic dancing with a clarity and sharpness to it,” he said. Hough said Parrish should work with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy through the adversity. “You got this, girl!” Hough said. Parrish, who teared up after her performance, earned a 10 and three 9s for a total of 37 points.Antonio Ribeiro: The actor danced the jive, and despite a back injury, earned a sustained standing ovation from the ballroom audience and a perfect score from the judges. “It was amazing!” Inaba said. “I don’t know how it was so much better than the first time.” Goodman told Ribeiro: “You dance like Frank Sinatra sings. He’s easy on the ear. You are easy on the eyes.” Hough told Ribeiro that there “was not one thing” that he missed in the routine, and an enthusiastic Tonioli cheered “Hooray for you!” Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson earned four 10s, for 40 points.Freestyle Routine:Bethany Mota: Her powerful, dramatic freestyle earned her a standing ovation and high praise from the judges. Inaba said the performance was spectacular, and Hough said Mota “couldn’t have done a better job.” Tonioli told Mota that she had the makings of a leader, and Goodman added: “I got just what I expected. Great lifts. Drama. This is a five-star freestyle!” Mota earned four 10s, for 40 points.Sadie Robertson: In her freestyle, Robertson’s and her partner played iconic video game characters in a unique routine that had the judges raving. “Game over!” Hough declared, adding: “That was the cutest thing I have ever seen.” Tonioli called the routine “refreshing,” telling Robertson’s pro partner, Mark Ballas, that the routine was “totally inspired,” and adding: “Watching this, I felt like a child again. I was hit by wave upon wave of absolute joy. Thank you.” Inaba said the routine was “the most memorable freestyle we’ve seen in ages,” while Goodman said he would never forget the routine. Robertson earned four 10s for a total of 40 points.Janel Parrish: The actress’ contemporary routine earned her glowing reviews from the judges. Tonioli called it “the visualization of a love poem, so moving and deeply felt...hypnotically beautiful.” Inaba said the routine “changed us for a minute,” adding, “to me, that is what being an artist is about.” Goodman said the routine combined athleticism with artistry, calling it “fantastic.” Hough said the routine was “absolutely breathtaking.” Parrish earned four 10s, for a total of 40 points.Alfonso Ribeiro: The actor’s freestyle combined snippets from all his prior performances, and incorporated a tap dance solo. The routine brought the house down, and judges were equally appreciative. “And that’s how you tap your way to the top. I’m telling you, this really was [an] in-your-face, undeniable show stopper in the great American way,” Tonioli said. Goodman called the performance “an all-you-can-eat buffet of great dancing fun,” and Inaba said it was “the ultimate in freestyle.” Ribeiro earned four 10s for 40 points.Monday’s scores (first routine, freestyle, grand total):Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson: 40; 40. Total: 80Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas: 38; 40. Total: 78Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy: 37; 40. Total: 77Bethany Mota and Derek Hough: 36; 40.
