1-26-12, NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say counterfeit $20 bills have been showing up in Norfolk.
 
Norfolk police say several businesses have reported seeing the counterfeits. All the fakes have been $20 bills.
 
Sgt. Mike Bauer says the fake $20s feel thicker or heavier than regular $20 bills. They also lack the watermark and vertical security thread.
 
There have been four consistent serial numbers on the counterfeits: II 51992909A; II 06184895A; EL 11883962H; and GF 01704254C.
