Citing "company response to current demand" CNH Industrial officials say there will be job reductions at their Grand Island plant. CNH spokesperson Kathleen Prause says 170 full-time employees and 68 third party agency workers will be laid off. Employees were given the news on Thursday. The "indefinite layoff" will start in October and be done by November. A statement from CNH Industrial says no other locations in North America are impacted. The Grand Island plant makes combines and self-propelled windrowers. Prause would not say how many employees in total work at the GI facility.
