Morgan Makes AP All-Big Ten Second Team

Nebraska receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. was the lone Husker to receive Associated Press All-Big Ten honors yesterday.

The NU senior was a second-team selection, as was Iowa tight end Noah Fant of Omaha.  Fant’s Hawkeye teammate T.J. Hockenson not only was named first-team All-Big Ten; he won the Mackey Award as the best tight end in the country.

In the Big Ten, Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. is the offensive player of the year, while Michigan linebacker Devin Bush is defensive player of the year.

Purdue freshman receiver Rondale Moore was voted newcomer of the year and Northwestern’s Pat Fitzgerald was named coach of the year.
