Kamrath Posts Win for CHS Tennis at State

The Columbus High boys’ tennis team had one victory to celebrate at yesterday’s Class A state tournament in Omaha.

Discoverers junior Adam Kamrath won his #1 singles opening match 6-0, 6-1 over Ely Olson of Omaha Northwest.  However, Kamrath bowed out of the single elimination tourney in the second match, falling to second-seeded Connor Vandewege of Lincoln East 6-1, 6-0.

None of Columbus’ other singles or doubles competitors made it out of the first round.
