Several local and area high school basketball players will close out their prep careers tonight at Raider Fieldhouse. The annual Central Community College/Columbus Telegram All-Star Games are on tap.
Regi Zakrzewski of Columbus High, along with Maggie Feehan and Shania Borchers of Scotus will play for the girls’ silver team. The green squad includes Scotus standouts Marika Spencer, Kendra Wiese and Grace Wickham and Lakeview’s Ali Janssen.
In the boys’ game, the Discoverers’ Jaz Ackerson and the Shamrocks’ Trevor Kaslon are on the silver team, which is coached by Tyler Swanson of Scotus. The black team includes three seniors from CHS – Blake Petersen, Andy Pike and Michael Koch, who will not play due to an injury. Lakeview’s Luke Rollman and Sean Donnelly are also on the black squad.
The girls’ game tips off at 6:00 p.m., with the boys’ contest starting around 7:45. The pre-game show begins at about 5:30 p.m. on KLIR 101.
