New details have been revealed about the recently reported official Led Zeppelin book that will be published this year in honor of the 50th anniversary of the band’s formation.
The illustrated 368-page volume will feature plenty of previously unseen photos of Led Zeppelin — captured onstage, during candid moments and in the recording studio — as well as artwork and memorabilia from the group’s archives.
The book is being produced in collaboration with surviving Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones, and will feature the famous musicians’ recollections.
Prior to the book’s release, Led Zeppelin will be releasing remastered and expanded editions of its archival live album How the West Was Won on March 23. The album, which topped the Billboard 200 when it was first released in 2003, features performances from a pair of Los Angeles-area concerts the group played in June 1972.
