Jeff Beck, Paul Rodgers, Heart's Ann Wilson teaming up this summer for Stars Align Tour

Courtesy of Live NationWe now know the details about the “killer summer tour” Heart singer Ann Wilson teased in a recent message she posted on her official website. Wilson and her solo band will serve as the support act on a co-headlining trek dubbed the Stars Align Tour that will be co-headlined by guitar legend Jeff Beck and Bad Company/Free singer Paul Rodgers.

The North American outing gets underway on July 18 and is plotted out through an August 26 show in Tampa, Florida. Among the major cities the tour will visit are Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

“I always enjoy touring the U.S. in the summer and joining with Paul, and Ann Wilson, should make for quite an exciting night,” says Beck in a statement.

Adds Rodgers, “This is going to be a knockout combination of music and musicians. I’ve always been a Jeff Beck fan, who isn’t? He is in a league of his own. Ann Wilson has an amazing voice and is a brilliant songwriter.”

Wilson, meanwhile, notes that she’s honored to share the stage with Beck and Rodgers, whom she says are “long time favorites” of hers and “masters at their craft.”

Beck, Rodgers and Wilson each will perform their own set at the concerts. Deborah Bonham, late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham‘s sister, will be the opening act throughout the trek.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 2, at 10 a.m. local time via livenation.com. Citi card members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting Wednesday, January 31, at 12 p.m. local time through the company’s Private Pass program.
