A new charity auction has been launched, offering a variety of instruments and other collectible items signed by artists like The Temptations, The Four Tops and Boz Scaggs. Proceeds will raise money for the Rock Against MS Foundation, which provides care and services for people living with multiple sclerosis.
Among the items up for bid are a Pink Assassin electric guitar and a tambourine signed by members of The Temptations and The Four Tops, as well as laminates from the legendary Motown groups’ recent co-headlining tour. Also being auctioned are a black Epiphone guitar autographed by Scaggs and a Jack Daniels guitar signed by ex-Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony.
The auction also features signed memorabilia from blues legend Buddy Guy, longtime Ramones drummer Marky Ramone, members of Alice in Chains and others. The items will be up for bid until the afternoon of Thursday, January 4. Visit CharityBuzz.com to check out all of the items.
In addition to funding the Rock Against MS Foundation’s current programs, the money also will help the charity realize its plan to build a facility called The Rock House, where people who have been affected by the disease can receive free services and aid.
