The Nebraska football team is preparing to play at Minnesota tomorrow. The Huskers and Gophers are both 4-5 and need two wins in their next three games to go bowling.
Nebraska coach Mike Riley said his team has had a good week of practice, adding the team “spent a great deal of time yesterday on rugby tackling,” which drew laughs from reporters. Riley was poking fun at defensive coordinator Bob Diaco, who said earlier this week that when he joined the staff, the Huskers’ rugby tackling was “alarming.”
Kickoff tomorrow is set for 11 a.m. The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 a.m. on KLIR 101.
