Watch now: R.E.M. shares extended, NSFW “Nightswimming” video, included in deluxe “Automatic for the People” reissue

Craft RecordingsR.E.M. has premiered a new, extended version of their “Nightswimming” video, which will be included in the upcoming deluxe 25th anniversary reissue of the band’s 1992 album, Automatic for the People. You can watch the now-eight-minute visual via RollingStone.com.

In keeping with its title, the “Nightswimming” clip finds a group of people deciding to go for a late-night skinny dip, which is pretty NSFW. The video also features footage filmed in R.E.M.’s hometown of Athens, Georgia.

The Automatic for the People reissue includes a variety of rarities, live tracks and demos, plus the previously unreleased songs “Devil Rides Backwards” and “Mike’s Pop Song.” The collection arrives this Friday, November 10.
