Poison frontman Bret Michaels has released a lot of memorable songs during his long career, but the famous rocker has never put out a holiday single. That’ll change Friday, November 17, when Michaels issues a new version of the Christmas classic “Jingle Bells” as a digital single and via streaming services.
Bret’s rendition of “Jingle Bells” reportedly combines “modern recording techniques and contemporary grooves with traditional orchestration.” Special exclusive content related to the single will be available at BretMichaels.com.
Michaels says of his new yuletide tune, “It was such an awesome experience that I plan to have a full-length release of holiday music next year.”
A portion of the proceeds from sales of “Jingle Bells” will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In addition, Michaels will raise money for various charities through his Life Rocks Foundation’s annual holiday fundraising drive.
