Riley Likes Huskers’ Spirit In Practice Following Losses

The Nebraska football team held its second bye-week practice in full pads yesterday evening. Afterwards, head coach Mike Riley said there was good work done.

Following losses to Wisconsin and Ohio State, Riley was asked about the spirit of the Huskers. “I don’t want to sound pie-in-the-sky, but I think it’s great,” Riley said. “I think the work for two days has been really good.”

Nebraska visits Purdue next Saturday.  It’s a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.  The game will be televised on BTN and will air on News Talk 900 KJSK and KLIR 101.
