Ahead of the documentary’s debut this Friday, Netflix has released an official trailer for Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two.
The trailer shows some of the ups and downs of Gaga’s life, including her chronic pain, loneliness, and relationship with her family. It also offers glimpses into the making of her album, Joanne, and how her Super Bowl performance came together.
“I can always bring my past with me,” Gaga says in the trailer. “But I can never go back. You gotta leave yourself behind.”
In another scene, Gaga reveals, “I didn’t feel good enough, and I do now. That’s the good part.”
The trailer ends with a funny scene of Gaga asking a cashier if the store has the new Lady Gaga album. The cashier, who clearly doesn’t recognize her, has no idea what she’s talking about.
The documentary premieres Friday, September 22 on Netflix.
