CHS Football Team Up To #8 In Omaha World-Herald Rankings

The Columbus High football team, which improved to 3-0 with a 48-30 win over Grand Island Northwest last Friday, has moved up in today’s Omaha World-Herald ratings.  The Discoverers climbed two spots in the Class B rankings to number 8.

Aquinas, also 3-0, is still ranked number 1 in C1, while Boone Central/Newman Grove enters the rankings at number 10.  The 2-1 Cardinals posted an impressive 42-0 win at defending C1 champ O’Neill on Friday.

In D1, Howells-Dodge remains fourth at 3-0, and East Butler stays number 8 at 1-1.  Humphrey St. Francis is still number 4 in D2 at 3-0.

Riverside, at 2-0, is still the top-ranked team in 6-man football.
