The Nebraska football team practiced in helmets and full pads yesterday for the first time this fall. After practice, offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf said his unit is ahead of where it’s been at this point in the past.
Even though quarterback Tanner Lee hasn’t played a snap in a regular season game for NU, Langsdorf included the junior in a group of veterans he said are off to a good start in practice.
He also praised freshman running back Jaylin Bradley, saying he’s “done really well at catching the ball in the backfield.”
The Huskers have today off, but will be back on the practice field tomorrow.
