Lakeview’s Colten Remm fired a 75 in yesterday’s final round of the Class B state golf tournament at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln.
Remm finished with a two-day score of nine-over 153 to tie for ninth place. As a team, the Vikings carded a two-day total of 638 to finish fifth out of 12 teams.
Columbus High’s Mitchell Kulhman and Cabe DeBower each shaved six shots off their day one score in the Class A tourney at Norfolk Country Club. Kuhlman was six-over par yesterday to finish 18-over and tied for 38th, while DeBower went 10-over for a 26-over total – good for a tie for 53rd.
Trevor Kosch of Humphrey St. Francis captured his third Class D state title. He fired a two-under par 70 yesterday for a two-day total of 2-under at Lake Maloney Golf Club outside North Platte.
His Flyers teammate, Riley Huettner also earned a medal by tying for 10th at plus-21.
