Someone to Believe In: Poison's Bret Michaels releases new single dedicated to his daughter

Michaels Entertainment GroupPoison frontman Bret Michaels has released a brand-new single that pays heartfelt tribute to his daughter, Jorja Bleu, in honor of her 12th birthday.

The song, aptly titled “Jorja Bleu,” is available now at various digital retailers and streaming services, while an accompanying video for the tune has been posted at Michaels’ official YouTube channel.

The rootsy, acoustic-guitar-driven song features Michaels sharing an inspirational message of love and encouragement to his daughter.

“She said, ‘What if I fall?’ and I said, ‘What if you fly?'” sings Bret. “You’re never gonna know unless you reach for the sky/This could all be gone in a blink of an eye/And this much I know is true/Let your soul shine, my sweet Jorja Bleu.”

Part of the proceeds raised by the single will be donated to the St. Jude’s Research Hospital cancer charity, per Jorja Bleu’s request.

The “Jorja Bleu” video features footage of Michaels singing the song in a studio along with a montage of photos of his daughter at various ages.

Michaels is currently on the road with Poison, who are in the middle of a U.S. tour with Def Leppard and Tesla. Check out Bret and his band’s full itinerary at BretMichaels.com and PoisonWeb.com.
