Riley Feels Great Going Into Season Opener

Nebraska football coach Mike Riley said he “feels great going into the game,” as the Huskers will kick off their 2016 Saturday night against Fresno State.

After Thursday’s practice, Riley said safety Antonio Reed will not play against the Bulldogs due to a minor knee injury.

Riley said the fans will be a key Saturday, calling a night game in Lincoln “absolutely unique” and “electric.” Kickoff at Memorial Stadium is set for 7 p.m.

The pre-game starts at 2:30 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 6:30 on KLIR 101.
