Lincoln, Nebraska, June 10, 2016 — Those interested in growing hops as a hobby or for profit are encouraged to attend an informational seminar hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Department of Agronomy and Horticulture from 4 to 6 p.m. June 30 in 150 Keim Hall on UNL’s East Campus.
Researchers will be on hand to provide background information on hop growth and development, cultivation and harvesting. There will be a discussion on challenges with production, handling and marketing of the crop specific to Nebraska.
