The Nebraska basketball team made a couple additions today.
Jordy Tshimanga (shuh-MAHN-gah), a 6-foot-11, 270-pound center has signed a letter of intent. He’ll begin playing for the Huskers next year.
The big man from Montreal, who spent the last three seasons at a high school in Granby, Mass. was a four-star selection by Scout.com and was rated as the number 150 prospect among high school seniors by Rivals.com.
James Palmer, Jr., who played basketball the past two seasons at Miami, is transferring to Nebraska. The 6-foot-6 guard will have to sit out next season, but will have two years of eligibility beginning in 2017.
