Scotus High School has selected its next boys’ basketball head coach. Former head coach Jeff Ohnoutka says Tyler Swanson, his top assistant and the Shamrocks’ JV coach the past four years, has been promoted to head coach.
Swanson is a Fremont native who played for and coached Archbishop Bergan. Ohnoutka stepped down and will become the school’s president.
Over the past three years, Scotus has finished as state runner-ups once and in third place twice, including this past season.
