LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts announced he has promoted Brittany Hardin to Central Nebraska Representative for the Governor’s Office. Hardin will serve as a liaison for the Governor’s Office for Central Nebraska as well as the West Central Field Service Representative for the Department of Economic Development.
“Brittany will continue to be a fantastic resource to the people of Nebraska,” said Governor Ricketts. “Brittany is a valued part of our team, and in her new role will help Grow Nebraska and facilitate more direct lines of communication with Central Nebraska.”
Previously, Hardin served as the Governor’s Greater Nebraska Communications Director and as Third District Director for Governor Ricketts’ campaign. Prior to that she was a producer, anchor and reporter for KNOP-TV in North Platte. She is also a former executive producer at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, California, where she earned an Emmy Award for her coverage on September 11, 2001.
Hardin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
