Wolfe, Five Other Area Wrestlers Head to State Tourney Unbeaten

The state high school wrestling tournament starts Thursday in Omaha.  Colton Wolfe of Columbus High will carry an unbeaten record into the tourney.

Wrestling in the 195-pound division of Class A, Wolfe is 47-0 on the season. The Discoverers junior is one of 21 unbeaten wrestlers in Nebraska, including five others from our area, headed to state.

The other undefeated area grapplers are David City’s Wyatt Phillips, Jeremiah Dickinson of Central City, Matthew Kindler of Aquinas, Madison’s Aron Reynaga and David Gross of St. Paul.
