Nebraska rallied to beat Creighton 7-6 at TD Ameritrade Park Tuesday night and sweep the three-game season series.
The Huskers scored once in the seventh and twice in the eighth to take a 6-5 lead. NU added an insurance run in the ninth, but Nebraska closer Josh Roeder allowed back-to-back extra-base hits to start the bottom of the ninth.
After a sacrifice bunt put the tying run at third with one out, Roeder got a grounder to short and a strikeout to end it. He notched his 13th save of the year and his 31st career save to tie Brett Jensen for the school mark.
The Huskers improved to 31-16, while the Jays fell to 24-13. Nebraska visits Northwestern this weekend. Creighton plays South Dakota State Wednesday night in Sioux City, Iowa.
