Nearly 77,000 Fans Attend Red-White Game

Nebraska ushered in the Mike Riley coaching era this weekend as the Red downed the White 24-15 in front of 76,881 fans at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

De’Mornay Pierson-El finished with 123 all-purpose yards on just seven touches: two runs, three receptions and two punt returns.  Tommy Armstrong connected with Pierson-El on a 32-yard scoring strike late in the third quarter that gave the Red team a 24-2 lead.

Jordan Nelson had a 52-yard catch and run for a score for the White team.
