Christian Cox hit a pair of home runs to lead number-23 Nebraska to a 12-3 win over Minnesota Sunday at Haymarket Park.
Cox became the first Husker to hit two homers in a game since Cody Asche blasted a pair against Baylor on April 30, 2011.
NU took the final two games of the series by a combined score of 19-7 after being shutout, 3-0, in the series opener. The Huskers are now 26-11 on the season and 5-4 in the Big Ten.
Nebraska is back in action Tuesday night at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha for a 7:05 p.m. game against Creighton. The pre-game show begins at 6:30 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.
