Taylor Swift Buries the Hatchet with Supposed Enemies Kanye West and Diplo

M_TaylorSwiftandKanyeWestGrammys_020915It seems Taylor Swift used this Sunday’s Grammys to put some old feuds to rest, reportedly making nice with Kanye West and Diplo — two people who famously dissed her in the past.

Us Weekly reports that at the ceremony, Taylor and Kanye embraced and posed for pictures together, six years after the rapper took issue with her MTV VMA win and crashed her VMA acceptance speech to say that Beyonce, and not she, should have won.  Kanye did actually apologize to Taylor the day after the VMA incident, by the way.

Kanye partially replicated that moment by appearing onstage when Beck won Album of the Year over Beyonce.  He didn’t say anything at the time, but later ranted to E! that, yes, Beyonce should have won.

At a Grammy after-party, deejay and producer Diplo snapped a friendly photo with Taylor and posted it on Instagram. Back in November, the DJ, and former Katy Perry flame, tweeted that “someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty.” Taylor kept quiet, but her BFF Lorde shot back with an insult about the alleged size of Diplo’s manhood.  Then, in a recent interview, Diplo slammed Taylor’s fans for threatening him, and said that he knew a lot of “secrets” about Taylor that made him afraid for his life.

Judging by Diplo’s Instagram photo, it looks like the two made up over drinks.

Taylor apparently wasn’t feeling friendly enough, or didn’t have the opportunity, to make nice with Katy Perry and John Mayer.  If you’ll recall, Taylor allegedly had a brief fling with John and then wrote a not-so-subtle song — supposedly about him — called “Dear John.” She also accused an unnamed person — assumed to be Katy — of trying to sabotage her tour, and wrote a song about that too, called “Bad Blood.”  While hosting The Late Late Show on Friday, John even quipped, “You can see me at the Grammys doing what I do best, being avoiding by Taylor Swift.”
